Key Responsibilities{{:}}
Business Partnering
- Operate in a generalist capacity across all client groups with a focus on internal talent management
- Support Senior People Partner in North America and Global People strategy to achieve regional and global business objectives
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Engage as a versatile professional, managing talent across diverse client groups while emphasizing internal talent growth.
- Collaborate with the Senior People Partner to drive North American and Global People strategy, aligning with regional and global business goals.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and best practices, and proactively assess and implement innovative processes and tools to elevate communication and collaboration within the North America client group
Recruitment
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Retail positions in North America, collaborating closely with hiring managers to meet their staffing requirements.
- From initial brief to final offer, ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment journey
- Take charge of shortlisting and conducting interviews, actively supporting hiring managers in the selection process.
- Uphold a commitment to delivering a positive and exceptional hiring experience by providing timely feedback and clear communication to both internal teams and candidates
- Leverage sourcing tools and methodologies to identify and attract top-tier talent, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the selection process.
- Strive to create a best-in-class recruitment experience that reflects the organization's commitment to excellence
Culture/Engagement
- Custodian of organizational culture, closely connected to consumer groups and business operations.
- Contribute to global initiatives encompassing communication, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, and other key areas.
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, positively influencing our entire business landscape.
- Collaborate with the Senior People Partner in fostering employee-focused groups and cohorts, playing a pivotal role in driving our business transformation through the power of the employee voice
L&D (ex{{:}} Mandatory training)
- Assist in the design and delivery of Learning & Development programs tailored for North America employees, emphasizing leadership, effective communication, and diverse skill enhancement (e.g., Insights Workshops, New Leader Integration, New Team Integration).
- Collaborate closely with the Senior People Partner to engage regional and global partners, along with key stakeholders, addressing both daily business operations and contributing to substantial regional and global initiatives
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Collaborate with People Operations and Total Rewards to enhance organizational effectiveness, ensuring consistency and compliance in HR processes.
- Oversee the onboarding journey, including integration programs, IT ticket management, new hire orientation, employee recognition, and announcements
- Handle Employee Change Forms throughout the employee life cycle.
- Spearhead desk setups for New York Magic Office employees and coordinate personalized swag items like water bottles, notebooks, and pens for new hires and workshops
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications Criteria{{:}}
- 3-5 years of demonstrated HR generalist experience, encompassing recruitment, learning & development, and employee engagement
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish, both written and oral
- Track record of thriving in global companies of various sizes
- Proven capability to engage effectively across all organizational levels, building strong and trusted relationships
- Knowledge of local employment laws in North America
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; adept in using ADP, SAP, Workable, and Concur
- Flourishes in a highly collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Self-starter, able to work independently, and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously with robust operations and project management skills
