We are looking for a talented and committed recruiter to play a critical role in managing LJA’s employee-owned brand culture in the marketplace for all engineering and multi-discipline positions.
General Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with potential candidates as well as identify upcoming staffing needs for future engineering projects.
- Actively recruit passive candidates; build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; network with industry contacts and associations.
- Conducts interviews of potential candidates; gauge chemistry of candidates for culture fit and hiring manager preferences.
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment of talent that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning current processes for recruiting to deliver the highest quality hires.
- Works with new managers to build interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Marketing, Communications, or Human Resources)
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 1 years corporate and/or search firm progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.
- Candidate Screening / Sourcing
- Experience setting up networking events.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel and work outside of office hours.
