Overview
The Talent Acquisition role is pivotal to our organization's success, as it involves identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to drive the company's objectives. This role plays a critical part in shaping the organization's culture, ensuring a strong employer brand, and maintaining a high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and programs to meet the organization's staffing needs
- Source and engage with potential candidates through online channels, such as social media and professional networks
- Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards
- Assess and improve current recruitment processes and procedures
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent
- Coordinate and participate in career fairs and networking events
- Stay updated on labor legislation and inform hiring managers and HR staff about changes affecting the organization
- Provide regular reports to management on recruitment activities and results
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires
- Participate in projects and initiatives related to talent management and HR policies
- Contribute to a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Collaborate with the HR team to support various HR projects and initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruiting roles
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
- Knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation, and regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR software
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience in employer branding and social media recruiting
- Strong interviewing and negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Certification in HR or talent acquisition is a plus
