About Your Role: The
Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work closely with hiring managers throughout
Yoder Family of Companies, managing the recruitment process to source quality candidates matching business needs in a timely manner. This position will coordinate directly with all candidates for screening, interviews, background checks, selection, and onboarding to provide an exceptional experience.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Develop partnerships with hiring managers throughout the Yoder Family of Companies to ensure quality candidates are selected to meet all recruitment needs efficiently and timely.
- Review and ensure accurate job descriptions to recruit candidates who match the position’s requirements necessary to be successful.
- Coordinate the recruitment process through JazzHR; review and screen resumes and applications, occasionally source candidates through active recruiting efforts to determine whether they meet the qualifications and cultural fit; coordinate interviews with the hiring managers.
- Work directly with all applicants to communicate and coordinate prescreening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding; ensure communication channels are clear and manage expectations to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed.
- Provide up-to-date recruiting status activity to the hiring managers on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure day-one readiness for all new team members, facilitating the post-offer and pre-employment process and guiding both candidates and hiring managers through the initial onboarding process.
- Attend job fairs and careers events and network with local high schools and colleges.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required.
- 3-5 years of talent acquisition experience is preferred.
Specialized Skills Needed?
- Exceptional attention to detail, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to work well with candidates and employees.
- Proficiency in computer systems and programs such as Microsoft Office suite, above average knowledge, and use of JazzHR, and ADP Workforce Now.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills, including strong grasp of written and verbal grammar and conventions.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Continuously looks for ways to improve the current processes by researching and gathering information and presenting it to management
