Join our team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, a key role in our Human Resources department. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, and maintaining accurate employee records. You will also play a crucial role in improving our recruiting metrics and promoting our company at job fairs and other recruiting events.
Essentials and Responsibilities
Recruiting
- Consults with leaders, hiring managers, and HR Manager on position descriptions, requisition creation, and sourcing strategies.
- Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Recruits and performs talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.
- Arranges pre-employment testing, background & references screenings. Evaluation and input of our current vendors
- Conducts new employee onboarding, ensuring the process is engaging and that processes are followed and accurate.
- Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
- Represents the company at recruiting events (i.e., college job fairs), providing company/job information and interviewing applicants.
- Communicates with managers and employees regularly to promote Gerber’s referral program and internal opportunities.
- Creates offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed.
- Focuses on improving recruiting metrics:
- Advertising & Ad. Site Utilization
- Answering phone calls and transferring calls to appropriate staff.
- Tracking Office Supplies and notifying the HR Generalist when supplies are low.
- Assist visitors and distribute deliveries.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Record Retention
- (E-Verify) all new hires.
- Initial PPE Distribution.
- Orientation / Safety Orientation coordination.
- Drug Testing / DOL Random Drug Testing.
- Distribution of new hire Qualifications to Foreman.
- Ensure all employee files are continually updated.
- Ensure all private files are properly protected.
- Maintain all electronic forms on Bamboo HR.
- Transfer all documents from Tyfoom and other systems to BambooHR and the TDrive.
Reporting:
- Give weekly updates to the HR Manager as needed.
- Inform & Update HR information, staffing levels, gains and losses weekly.
- Conduct site visits as needed to maintain HR presence with staff.
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in talent acquisition or a related field.
- Proficiency in HR systems, particularly Bamboo HR.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

$18.00-$20.00 DOE
