Then you may be interested in becoming a Staffing Manager (Travel Nurser Recruiter)!
We are searching for a Staffing Manager (Travel Nurse Recruiter) who will be responsible for the recruitment, screening, and placement of nursing and other medical professionals nationwide. As a recruiter, you will spend your day calling, emailing, advocating for, and connecting with nurses and allied professionals.
This job is not for the faint of heart. It requires determination, resilience, the ability to cope with rejection, and a hunger for success. The ideal candidate won’t give up and wants to help every prospect they’re in touch with. But the rewards are excellent! *Please note that this is an in-office/in-person role at our Southborough, MA headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create leads and opportunities by data mining job boards, social media, our internal database, and other sources, and cold-calling to source candidate nurses and allied professionals for open assignments nationwide.
- Proactively seek new avenues to attract candidates and maintain a pipeline of potential placements.
- Introduce benefits, the job matching process, and market conditions to potential travelers. Handle questions, and objections, of potential candidates and manage all aspects of closing on a prospective nursing hire.
- Maintaining a consistent amount of focused daily activity is required in order to meet recruitment metrics. This position requires a great deal of phone work - those who are comfortable on the phone in a fast-paced environment will be the most successful.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing traveler applications, coordinating interviews, performing reference checks, and extending offers.
- Review open job orders and requirements and compare them to nurses’ resumes to match their skills and experience to our clients’ job openings.
- Calculate and negotiate pay and benefits packages for Travel Assignments with nurses; ensure staffing/employment contract is accurate and completed.
- Consult with clients to identify and understand the appropriate staffing solutions and identify and/or resolve client customer service issues.
- Handle any issues, concerns, or questions that may arise for your nurses during their assignments.
Requirements
- We prefer that you have some prior experience in staffing agency recruiting and/or health care recruiting, but we are willing to train the right person!
- Must be a self-starter, have an outgoing personality, and the ability to make 40+ cold calls per day.
- Excellent communicator - you must be comfortable talking on the phone, writing emails, and professionally responding to text messages.
- Display a confident and determined recruiting approach.
- Ability to persist and persevere in the face of rejection.
