Summary
The Senior HR Generalist will have a strong background in human resources management, with a focus on providing tactical and strategic HR support to the firm. This position plays a key role in various HR functions and initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with management to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support the firm's overall objectives.
- Conducts the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and giving input to hiring decisions.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and team members on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Manage the onboarding and orientation process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance team member skills and capabilities, including maintaining CPE tracking for the firm.
- Administer team member benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other team member perks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
- Manage team member data and records, including personnel files, payroll information, and HRIS updates.
- Provide metrics and HR information to assist management in applicable decision-making.
- Conduct HR audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute workforce planning strategies to meet staffing needs and achieve business goals.
- Stay current on HR trends and best practices and recommend innovative solutions to enhance HR processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 1-2 years in a senior HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with experience ensuring compliance in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
