Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler/Recruiter to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing schedules for employees, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources. This is a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations and maximizing productivity.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain employee schedules based on business needs and employee availability
- Coordinate with managers and supervisors to understand staffing requirements
- Utilize scheduling software or tools to create, update, and manage schedules
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in staffing or business demands
- Communicate schedule changes to employees in a timely manner
- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations
- Assist with cold calling and HR sourcing for potential candidates
- Conduct research on industry best practices for scheduling and implement improvements as needed
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, time-off requests, and other relevant information
- Handle employee inquiries related to scheduling and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise
- Collaborate with Payroll department to ensure accurate processing of employee hours
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Scheduler or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in using scheduling software or tools (e.g., PeopleSoft, ATS)
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Experience with HR sourcing and cold calling is a plus
