Fennemore seeks an experienced part-time STAFF LEGAL ACQUISITION SPECIALIST to support our growing firm and contribute to our ongoing internal recruiting needs. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of related experience and be well-versed in recruiting processes, best practices, and laws. This position is part-time, fully remote, and not eligible for the firm’s standard full-time benefits.

Responsibilities:
-
Independently manage all aspects of the screening and interview processes, including writing and monitoring job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews with multiple parties nationwide, sourcing, and qualifying a high volume of non-attorney legal professionals at all levels and in all departments;

Partner with hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies;

Promote the firm's brand in a positive and professional manner that effectively exemplifies its purpose, mission, vision, and values;

Facilitate applicants through each stage of the interview process and communicate with hiring managers;

Conduct in-depth candidate interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit;

Develop creative sourcing methods to expand visibility and network for potential candidates in a highly competitive market and industry;

Maintain applicant tracking system (ADP Workforce Now) including active and passive prospects, referrals, and employment agency resumes;

Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes; and

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

3+ years related experience in a professional services environment specific to recruiting, law firm preferred but not necessary. This is not a generalist position;

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources;

Familiarity with recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems, ADP Workforce Now preferred;

Proven track record of successfully placing professionals, and the ability to influence leaders to try new approaches and drive progress;

Sense of urgency and the ability to quickly prioritize recruiting needs;

People-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport;

Professional and friendly demeanor and a service-minded approach;

Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may require travel including involvement with the HR Team’s annual meeting.
