We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Preference will be given to LPN applicants, with a minimum requirement of CMA.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare schedules and complete projection sheets to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
- Provide on-call responsibilities for nursing staff as needed.
- Assist in the hiring of new staff members, including conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding process.
- Complete disciplinary action forms regarding attendance issues, as necessary.
- Implement staff appreciation programs to promote a positive work environment.
- Assist with in-service education for staff members as needed.
- Answer phones and provide assistance to callers as appropriate.
- Perform nursing duties as needed, including patient care and assessment.
- Utilize HR software systems for scheduling, payroll, and employee management tasks.
- Assist with employee evaluation processes and performance management.
- Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Perform central supply duties to ensure availability of necessary medical supplies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed in the state of Oklahoma.
- Current CPR & First Aid certification.
- Nursing home experience preferred.
- Previous experience in staffing or HR coordination strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using HR software systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions of established nursing care routine.
- Patience, tact, and a desire to serve others.
