The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR team. This position is integral to our mission of recruiting top talent to support the educational and operational goals of TCSG. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for posting job vacancies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and representing TCSG at job fairs and recruitment events. This position is located at the TCSG System Office in Atlanta at 1800 Century Place, Atlanta, GA 30345.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and post job advertisements on various job boards, social media platforms, and the TCSG website
- Ensure job postings are accurate, appealing, and compliant with TCSG standards and legal requirements
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the role
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
- Schedule interviews with candidates and coordinate with hiring managers
- Arrange interview logistics, including room bookings, video conferencing, and travel arrangements, if necessary
- Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the interview process
- Track and report on the effectiveness of recruitment advertising campaigns
- Represent TCSG at job fairs, campus recruiting events, and community outreach programs
- Network with potential candidates and provide information about career opportunities at TCSG
- Assist in the planning and execution of TCSG-hosted recruitment events
- Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of talent acquisition work experience
OR
Seven (7) years of talent acquisition work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Georgia state government and/or Higher Education
- Experience using social media and other digital platforms for recruitment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
WORK DEMANDS
- Occasional travel required for attendance at recruitment events, training, attendance at conferences, and/or professional development.
