Eaton’s Global Talent Acquisition function is seeking a manager for our North American professional recruiting team based at our Cleveland, Ohio Corporate location OR position can be remote. Reporting directly to the North American TA Director, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing & recruiting strategy for a specific segment of Eaton’s professional workforce.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

In the role you will work closely with business and HR leadership teams throughout the footprint to strategize the unique sourcing and recruiting plans for our rapidly growing business segments. A key part of your leadership role will be to develop and maintain relationships with business leaders and ensure we understand future hiring forecasts and translate those into the TA resource plans necessary to support the hiring forecasts. You will stay abreast of the internal and external market trends impacting Eaton’s recruiting goals. Critical to your success is fully optimizing the suite of automation, technology and back-office resources that support your recruiting team’s efforts, while having a keen eye for continuous improvement-based problem solving.

- You function as a working manager in supporting full cycle recruiting efforts as needed
- You partner with internal business and HR leaders to devise sustainable recruiting plans that meet our immediate, midterm & long-term hiring forecasts and meet regularly to review progress and updates
- You accumulate and interpret data and metrics that give us insights and aid in the design of best-in-class talent acquisition strategies
- You partner with the HR Services team to optimize the operation of back-office sourcing support teams
- You partner with the Talent Acquisition COE to operationalize technology implementation and branding strategies with professional associations, diversity outreach and social media
- Your team is operating in compliance within state, local and federal compliance standards
- Your team delivers world class candidate experience, positioning Eaton to be an employer of choice in the region
- Your team supports Eaton’s diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Guide and enforce OFCCP policies, procedures and best practices to internal operations and HR Business Partners
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the recruiting industry, in-house or search firm
- Prior experience managing a recruiting team (directly or indirectly)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- Experience using analytics/data/metrics to drive business results and impact business performance

- Demonstrated ability to partner with business leadership teams and Hiring Managers to execute on Talent Acquisition needs on a tactical and strategic level
- Skilled at bringing order to chaos, prioritizing work in a disciplined and rigorous manner, equally exhibiting “big picture” thinking and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven hiring plans with exceptional team management skills and an excitement for leading through change in a fast-paced environment
- A continuous improvement mindset in the use of Talent Acquisition resources, systems and processes
- Outstanding communication skills – you inspire the confidence & followership with your team and your business partners
- Ability to influence, have challenging conversations and work effectively in a highly collaborative culture
- Natural curiosity to learn and contribute ideas, opinions and observations to the hiring process and the Talent Acquisition team
