Adaptive Intelligence Internatonal LLC, is a bespoke creative agency specializing in digital marketing solutions such as copywriting, brand development, key messaging, storytelling, social presence, and more. As our agency continues to expand, we are seeking a highly-organized and versatile Human Resources Specialist to help us implement key policies and strategies driven to maximize the success of our remote team.
Reporting directly to our executive team, the Human Resources Specialist will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our team. Supporting our creatives from across the globe, our HR specialist can expect to build meaningful relationships with our team and drive positive change, while owning and managing various initiatives as they relate to the growth of the agency.
We’re looking for an expert in all forms of HR, with a focus on recruitment, retention, onboarding, offboarding, professional development, flexible benefits, and more.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties
- General office organizational and administration tasks pertaining to record and data management (HRIS +)
- Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to include creation of job descriptions, posting roles, scheduling and conducting interviews, tracking recruitment and onboarding processes, and hiring/onboarding into appropriate tech stack
- Offboarding and exit interviews
- Research and implement flexible benefits for existing and upcoming creative, remote workforce
- Fully embrace, communicate, and demonstrate agency mission, vision, and values
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Assist in the development and evaluation process of contractors and employees
- Maintain an approachable presence and create a clear destination for our creative team to feel comfortable bringing forward concerns and suggestions
- Advise creative workforce on professional and career development opportunities
- Handle contractor inquiries from applicants, contractors/employees, and leaders
- Keep business leadership aware of all contractor concerns or issues while driving resolutions when issues arise
- Ensure contractors are driving client satisfaction and communicate any discrepancies or inconsistencies to management
- Develop and consistently meet or exceed HR KPI's
Policies & Procedures
- Audit existing agency policies/guidebook and recommend changes or additions as needed
- Develop, utilize, and enforce HR SOP's/processes
- Research and implement professional development initiatives
- Bolster documentation where needed including subcontracting legal consult where necessary
- Ensure records and files are kept up to date and in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain an understanding of pay policies and communicate with payroll as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, organizational psychology, business management or similar field plus 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Remote and contractor/consultant status experience
- In-depth knowledge of Independent Contractor laws and remote agency structure
- Enthusiasm for the digital space
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships
- Access to a computer with a stable internet connection required
Skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, HRIS (preferably Rippling)
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability for a digital environment
- Proven ability to drive success and satisfaction within a remote digital organization through prioritization and management of time and resources
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
