Basic Responsibilities
This position is part of the Human Resources Leave Administration team supporting Team PUD. This opportunity will support employee requests for FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, other federal & state leave benefits, and help administer employer leave policies. Additional responsibilities include research, training, program implementation, and change management related to leave programs and legislation.
Candidates should have good organizational skills, feel comfortable working with ambiguity, ability to manage conflicting priorities, empathetic and caring customer service, and a continual improvement focus to find efficiencies in HR business processes. Experience with Workers’ Compensation and FMLA/ADA administration is preferred.
HR roles are anticipated to be hybrid, with some days in the office and others designated as work from home. Work location flexibility will be expected from the person filling this role.
Minimum Qualifications
Human Resources Generalist I: $25.53/hr - $42.55/hr
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field;
OR
Associate’s Degree Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field, AND
Two (2) Years of related Human Resources Experience
OR
Four (4) years of related Human Resources Experience
Human Resources Generalist II: $66,604 – $111,028 annually
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field, AND
Two (2) Years of related Human Resources Experience
OR
Associate’s Degree Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field, AND
Four (4) Years of related Human Resources Experience
OR
Six (6) years of related Human Resources Experience
