The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
(NOTE: This is a HYBRID position; it will start as 100% in-office but will then have the option to work a hybrid or remote schedule based on performance and manager approval. This role can work out of any of our TRICOR office locations - whichever location is closest to their home residence. Travel to conduct on-site in-person interviews may be required; travel to conduct on-site in-person new hire onboarding is strongly encouraged. At least 2 years of recruiting experience is REQUIRED.)
Essential Functions:
The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
- Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Capitalize on the use of social media and jobs boards.

Participates in applicable job fairs, college campus recruiting and internship coordination.

Assists with the interview process with hiring managers.

Collaborates with hiring managers and other HR staff during the offer process.

Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Minimum of Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required

At least two (2) years of recruiting or related experience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
-
Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment

Proficient with or the ability to learn applicant-tracking software or other recruiting systems (such as Paycom)
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
-
Ability to travel (up to 25%), primarily day travel with occasional overnight travel, and have access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:

Related Bachelor’s degree

PHR or SHRM-CP designation

Experience recruiting in the insurance or similar industry
