About Us:
The Children's Guild (TCG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children, families, and child-serving organizations. We provide individualized transformational experiences through education, behavioral health, management, and consulting services. Our diverse portfolio includes public charter schools, treatment foster care, and outpatient mental health clinics.
The Role:
As our HR Generalist, you'll be a key player in our human resources team, administering critical HR functions and aligning our business objectives with our employee culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring HR leader looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor on HR policies and practices
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation
- Create employee engagement and recognition programs
- Facilitate new employee onboarding
- Ensure legal compliance with employment laws
- Support performance management
- Maintain accurate employee records
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience
- HRCI or SHRM certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year)
- Experience with HRIS/HCM systems
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
