Summary/ Objective:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for specific positions.

Essential Functions:

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
Leads the job posting and advertisement processes
Screens candidates, and selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with management team
Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process
Collaborates with the hiring manager, executive team and Director of HR during the offer process in identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO), related federal/state employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful
Performs other related duties as assigned
